<DIV id=p_content>　　1907年7月6日，光复会成员安徽巡警处会办兼巡警学堂监督徐锡麟，在安庆刺杀安徽巡抚恩铭，率领学生军起义，攻占军械所，激战4小时，失败被捕，慷慨就义。审讯时挥笔直书：“蓄志排满已十余年矣，今日始达目的。本拟杀恩铭后，再杀瑞方、铁良、良弼，为汉人复仇。”徐锡麟（1873年生），浙江山阴（今绍兴）人。1904年在上海加入光复会。1905年到浙东联络会党，又在绍兴办大通学堂，招会党头目来校受兵操练，借此积蓄革命力量。后纳粟捐官，以道员分发安徽候补，在巡警处供职。1907年与女革命党人浙江同盟会负责人秋瑾联系，准备于浙、皖两省同时起义。部署未定，嵊县等地会党先期发难失败。徐锡麟仓卒举事，孤军力薄而失败。</DIV></FONT>
